A Muppets/Sesame Street appreciation post.

If you don’t love them, you’re a miserable person.

If you follow me on Twitter, you will definitely be aware of my obsession with the Muppets and Sesame Street. I have spent hours on YouTube watching them, reliving my childhood and laughing like a kid; they are just lovely, wonderful creatures that make me happy. To be completely fair I have already written about how much I love them in my Independent Blog, where I ask what the deal with Bert and Ernie is – shouldn’t they come out of the closet already?

So if you love the Muppets and Sesame Street, here are the videos of them I love the most. If you don’t love them but need a laugh, I promise you this is where you will find it.

1. Bohemian Rhapsody by the Muppets

This video always makes me cackle with laughter. The root of the Muppets and Sesame Street’s success is definitely in how they keep themselves current to every generation. PS: Here’s a follow up for the whole Mama/Animal drama.

2. NPH and Elmo

Too freaking adorable. I love songs about pajamas. Who doesn’t love pajamas? Get out if you don’t.

3. Mahna Mahna (Original)

Mahna manah phenomenah! Try getting this out of your head in the next thirty days, it won’t work at all.

4. OK Go’s Primary Colours

Besides the amazing videos OK Go usually make for themselves, they have also made this. And it’s great, and once again relevant to most generations. I had forgotten my primary colours anyway. Thanks Sesame Street!

5. Fozzie’s running gag

Fozzie is awesome. That is all.

6. Man or Muppet?

A question I struggle with every day.

7. Cookie Monster does Call Me Maybe

Flawless.

In conclusion, if you don’t have the Muppets in your life you are a little bit more miserable than I am.
